For me I’m all about helping my members and future members or even people who never buy anything from me. I must admit that sometimes I don’t feel like I’ve done enough in terms of giving out enough information, however I looked back over all my old videos and free content the other day and I couldn’t believe how much content I’ve actually put together over the years.
“For the love of the sport, if I didn’t enjoy what I do then I certainly would stop”
I couldn’t remember making half the videos I’ve produced. I swear I almost had hair in a few of them.
One of my members made a great comment the other day about going over old ground regarding methods and race tactics and he was right.
It can pay dividends to go back over things you’ve worked on. Sometimes we become distracted by a new way to work or let’s face it shinny new stuff and ideas from other less reliable sources, and we simply forget about current tactics which are working right now.
Another subscriber told me they were making winning bets from the very first day they opened my software and then the next day and then again. So I’m thinking well he seems to just get it… he’s involved making his selections and doing exactly as he should be.
But then it all went wrong, for whatever reason maybe laziness or confusion I don’t know, but basically he wiped out his betting bank, twice.
I thought well there must be a really good reason why? Bad weather at the race course and horses not performing?
Just a bad week with horses getting beaten by a nose time and time again?
Maybe he gave himself to many races to form read and he lost focus?
Maybe just maybe he was distracted with the kids that day? or Betfair was faulty and he missed the wining bets and just kept hitting the losers…
There really could be a whole host of reasons and just bad luck thrown into the mix. Murphy’s Law cropped up on a few bets perhaps?
“Emmm, No none of those. Its much much worse than that”
He actually just stopped doing what was working for him and decided tipsters were the way forward instead.
Bad decision and lesson learned, not the first time but i think after the second bank wipe out he realised back to basics was the way to go. The thing is with tipsters, and although its not really my thing i do have products which provide selections. The one thing tipster or anyone giving out selections cannot control is the ability for people to follow everything correctly and for the information provided to be not only good but reliable.
Its certainly a long term venture, now there is no way i would ever want anyone to lose their bank once never mind twice but we all have to be prepared for it to happen.
My whole focus, well one of them is to give people training, knowledge and experiences and for them to learn from me and to use my software to help them achieve their betting goals.
I personally think Racing is a huge lesson and not something I can cover in a single video, a day, week, I can compress things down into bundles and send out one or two things to help you in a video or in a PDF. But it takes time to cover everyone’s individual betting needs.
“I can however nip a few things in the bud”
One of those to be nipped in the bud is Stop using tipsters, especially the ones who call you on the phone and you think how the hell did you get my number. There are no racing shortcuts it’s all down to you I can help you and guide you and poke you with a big stick to keep you on the right side of the line, but it’s up to you. Whether you decide to stick in and learn and devour the information I give you or take the road which ultimately leads to nothing but disappointment, hanging onto the hopes of tipsters.
This is one reason why i put my Race Vision Training room together to give people an in-depth training course to set them off on the correct path and give them the skills they need to profit for life themselves. The best thing for me is receiving those testimonials from people who have joined and they are already making winning bets and they feel confident and now have a plan to follow as someone has showed them how to progress for themselves. Thats the real kick i get knowing the average punter the man in the street now has the skills to develop and most importantly win.
